motorcycle (Not TTGP related)

in Trying to Get Pregnant

so, we're on vacation and my DH has been spending the ENTIRE day working on this motorcycle with my dad and riding it around the neighborhood.... I wanna get out of the house.... maybe I'll just call up a friend.

is it horrible that a part of me wants to be like "oh yeah, umm... ykno how I tell you to stay out of saunas and hot tubs, yeah motorcycles, too" just to ** with his head?

    yes, let the man do what he wants. Maybe instead of sitting on the computer, go with them.

    Why don't you just ask him to take some time away from it? Have you tried that?

    Did you have plans for vacation? Maybe this is what he is doing to unwind from work. My H loves to ride and work on his motorcycle. But then again I go with him all the time. Does he even know you want to do anything? Maybe you should just be upfront and tell him.

    I did just tell him, he's hot now anyways.... I was just realizing I'm on vacation and not doing much different than any weekend day....

    Men and their motorcycles are something I won't understand, but that is because I have zero interest in getting on it. DH has had his for 5 years now, and I have yet to go on a ride. I'll get there eventually, but for now, I would rather leave it to him and his little friends so they can go explore.

    Use this time to do something for yourself! I love it when DH is out working in the yard or going on a motorcycle ride. I can do what I want to relax - cook, go on a nice walk listening to music, go to the golf range, etc. But, I know it can be annoying when you want to do something together when you have time off, but he's totally preoccupied. Hopefully he'll get the hint it is time to stop soon!

    Married since 2008 | TTC #1 since 2011

    2 losses: Nov '11 and Aug '12
    Dx: Feb '13 - HSG shows clear tubes but minor diverticulitis; Borderline DOR; Low DHEA and low testosterone.
    Moving on to IUI or IVF.

    3.4.13:  Holy crap! Surprise natural BFP on cycle #19. EDD 11.12.13
    We've got a peen.....it's a boy!
