Damp panties

It freaks me out - like my amniotic fluid is leaking. I'm 99.9% sure its not considering the damp is at the front - not near any holes : ) I've been wearing a liner, but take it off just to make sure it's just dampness and not wet . ..

So annoying : )

Between the discharge and sweat, I'm about to start bringing extra pairs in to work with me. Panty liners are helpful for some discharge but it's so gross pulling up sweaty panties right after I pee and feeling that between my belly and thighs. Gross, gross, gross.

I think I've heard some ladies on TB refer to it as "swamp crotch." Nothing else describes it better. I have a very, very swampy crotch. All the time. I would rather have periods than deal with this, to be honest. Even when I shower, by a few hours later my vag just feels icky.

Most likely sweat and possibly some discharge (although, my discharge generally stays on the panty liner, and the sweat forms more liberally. It certainly doesn't help that I seem to have a mid-day hot flash at work every day. At least at home I can strip down if I'm hot flashing so I can air things out!

If it were amniotic fluid, you'd likely notice a trickle (or more) of fluid coming out of your vagina, and it would be continuous. Urine will also smell like ammonia. Amniotic fluid, from what I've read, will smell "sweet".

Dude, for REAL. Especially if I'm going to get period-like cramps anyway. "Swamp" is exactly the appropriate term to describe what's going on down there.

are you still looking at What to Expect? they say that extra discharge is very common toward the end. Stock up on pantiliners! I hate that wet feeling!!!!

Yes, yes, yes. I change underwear at least twice a day. The other night we were at a friends' house and even though they had the a/c on, I was so hot that my capris were soaked by the time I got home. Yeah, no one warns you about swamp crotch AT ALL.

I blowdry my crotch pretty much every time I use the bathroom at my house! Wish the bathroom at work had a blower (and a private place to use it, heh)....

Dear lord-the swamp crotch is bad but not that bad! I always have the period from hell. I dont miss it at all!!
