Ok I'm trying to figure out why in the heck my lo go to sleep just fine then wakes up crying her head off. Sometimes she does this about an hour after being put down sometimes longer just depends. She's done this since I can remember. She is 3 1/2 months. I'll go in a sooth her sometimes it works she goes back to sleep then a few minutes later does it again. And sometimes it may be another 30-1hr before she does it again. She does this during naps and nighttime. It's not every single time but I'd say very very often. Enough to cause some concern. I HATE not knowing what it is. She did this on and off most of the night last night. I've switched her formulas a few times adn STILL think we haven't found the right one. She is VERY gassy I will say. And she has been straining to pass gas and poop and she is not constipated at all. I do suspect a sensitivity to dairy. And I notice no difference using those darn gas drops. Grr! I thought the Gerber Gentle we put her on two weeks was finally going to be the one. But I'm starting to think not.

I don't know if it's gas hurting her. We make sure she is really burped well all the time. I'm not sure if it's relux. She use to projectile vomit in her first month of life but she doesn't do that anymore. Could it be silent reflux? She doesn't like sleeping flat on her back. Even with the crying she can be in her swing, the rnp or sleeping side ways in her crib. So she seems to do it even if she is elevated. Has anyone else gone through this and cme to find out your lo had a food sensitivty? I feel like if it's gas and it's causing her to sleep very restless every night it must be the formula right? She's been on Enfamil Newborn, AR, Infant & then finally I am currently trying Gerber Gentle. I know this is long sorry.
Re: What a long night :(
I can't help with the formula much, but just a thought- Is it the beginning of the 4-month wakeful period? If you're not familiar, google it. I believe it's a real thing. It was like we had a newborn again when my LO was that age.
GL!
