Does this sound like "true" labor?

Ok, so I woke up this morning at 4:00 with some uncomfortable contractions and some "bloody show". The contractions were regular and 8 minutes apart for 2.5 hours then stopped. I took a nap for an hour and then they started up again and were on and off from about 8:00 am until about 6:00 PM along loose bowels which has lasted ALL day and night and a VERY active baby. At around 6 PM the contractions became regular again and switched from uncomfortable to painful - about 14 minutes apart for several hours and now, 5 hours later, I am still having them regularly and they are about 8 minutes apart, last about 40 seconds and are painful. Does this seem like the real deal? I can't help but thinking I would have more progress in 19 hours if it were the real thing...

Sounds like early labor. You can go get checked it you want to. If your still early and your water hasn't broke then youll be sent home. Early labor can last awhile. How far along are? I'm assuming your ok to delivery? If you are go take a walk to help speed it up.
