DS wasn't feeling great last night, and I would've liked to get him in to the pedi, but my douchetastic co-worker called out today, when he knew the other 2 people in our department both had appointments today...I just hope he's feeling better today!
I have a tooth that is killing me and I am the only one who had bothered to make it into the office this morning. I am waiting for my boss to finally show up so I can go to lunch. He won't roll in until one or two though by which time I will be starving and feeling sick to my stomach from not eating.

I have an consult with an oral surgeon in the morning to have my wisdom teeth removed. I HATE the dentist & I feel like a big cry baby right now because I don't wanna go! I need to find my big girl panties!
I'm sick of car issues! Last week, I got stranded at the store because of a bad battery connector in car #1. We fixed that issue. Then car#2 wouldn't start on Friday, so I've been without a car because DH has had to work. Hopefully we can get to fixing it on DH's days off. But that kinda depends on how the wisdom teeth go.

When you go, make sure they use IV sedation. My sisters had theirs done with a dentist who only gave them loopy pills. No thank you! Oh yeah, if you do get IV sedation, don't let them use any needle bigger than an 18 gauge (the smaller the number=bigger needle). My hand hurt worst of all because they used a 16 gauge. Hello garden hose!

I hate my ILS! They wanted to take DD to a movie on Saturday, but I said no because the only kid-friendly movie out is one that she and I are going to see together. We haven't had time with just the two of us since Max was born. And that's a long time for a previous only child! My ILS didn't say it in words, but I could tell that they were ticked off that I wouldn't just roll over for them. MIL even had the audacity to tell me "Make sure you take her to the 3D version. She really likes that." I have never been to the movie theater with my DD, but she's been 4 times with other family members.
At this point I'm glad Max won't leave my side. I hate to think of the crap they're going to pull with him!

F'ing wasps! I bought my DS a kiddie pool, he LOVES it, but we have some wasps in our yard. DH killed them, got rid of their nests and they are back! UGH!
I was out there yesterday killing them with a cookie sheet, I probably looked like a maniac.

Oh yes, my friend! No way could I stand to be "loopy but awake", I'm too much of a spaz for all that. Good to know about the needle size..*thinks back to L&D* Maybe that why my hand was bruised til DS was like 3 weeks old!
Last week DS didn't poop for a week and now my mother is hounding me that it's because I make his baby food, and I should just buy the canned stuff from the store because the food I give him makes him constipated. Ugh. She honestly treats me like I'm stupid and can't make good decisions for my baby. She also acts like I starve him, when he hardly ever finishes a 6 oz bottle.
Also I had an interview for a position in the same school that I work at right now and it's been over 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. At all. So I'm feeling really pissed and depressed.

DH has been selling some stuff on eBay for some more cash. He rides the bus to work and told me he would be home at 11:30 for lunch and to please have lunch ready for him and we could go to the post office to mail some things he sold and I would drop him back off at work. Well, DH is notorious for missing the bus because of various reasons (in the middle of something work-wise, but mostly he loses track of time for no reason). Well, I cooked a really nice lunch for him, all while DD was screaming from the other room because she can't see me from the living room. 11:30 comes and goes and I got a phone call from him saying he lost track of time and missed the bus. WTF. Come on. And he wonders why I don't cook him lunch if he makes it home when he says he'll be home. Argh!

I know you know this, but how would making his food make him constipated?! I would just tell your mom that it is the best way to feed your child because you know what is in the food you are giving him and it's fresher than the premade stuff. BTW, I make DD's food too and she kind of got constipated after carrots for some reason. Applesauce did the trick though. ;-)
We are having issues pooping here as well. Dr prescribed some solution stuff that makes him go but I was really hoping to be able to make it work without medication. I'm beginning to think that DS might have my milk intolerance so I was going to try out soy formula and reintroduce the whole solids thing because he is so uncomfortable with new foods lately. I mentioned something about needing to p/u his prescription when my MIL is around. It opened up a can of worms.
She proceeds to tell me how I've caused LO's issues because I started solids too early (cereal around 4 months and fruits/veggies around 5 months) and that he should have never had yogurt (intro at 5 months). She then continues to tell me that I should do rice cereal for until 8 months, then add only veggies. 1 Veggie every two weeks to make sure there is no allergy. 10 months add chicken and turkey but no beef at all oh and no cows milk until age 18 months. Oh and forget fruits because they are not healthy anyways.
ah yah ayh! Yes, I'm working on figuring out what is causing his pooping issues and I have it under control thanks! The pedi and I have a plan that doesn't involve her crazy schemes of how to feed babies from 26 years ago. Thank you very much!!!

I try to stay calm with her, but sometimes I snap back at her. I mean, I'm not AGAINST giving him jarred baby food, it's just that if I have the time, I might as well make him something and I'll know what's in it. To help him poop I did buy jarred prunes because I didn't have the extra time and apples and pears didn't work for DS. Jarred baby food makes me gag it smells so gross!!

What is it with people and other babies pooping habits? Those are some of the supidest things I've ever heard.
My main b!tch this week is my moms. They were supposed to come and watch LO so that DH and I could go watch a movie. I need to get somewhat used to the idea of leaving her with someone for a little while, we're going on vacation in a month and I'm going to be away from her for a while. Well they flaked out on me and now I'm terrified to leave her with anyone all over again.
And my house becomes grand central station during the summer. We've got a half a dozen kids or more that come and go and drive me bonkers all summer long.

Our renters infuriate me. The sprinklers were not working well, due to the filters most likely getting clogged. Instead of cleaning them, they want us to have a sprinkler ($$) company come look at them. Uh, no. Oh, and the hot water is "not great" and they want the hot water heater replaced. By the end of June they said. Ok, that seems a bit demanding. It's not as if it doesn't work, it's just not brand new. Remind me why we ever thought buying a house was smart?

It's Tuesday, but I'm going to b!tch anyway. This is nothing to new to anyone here, but I'm tired of living a mile wide and an inch deep on everything, from time with LO, time with DH, work, household obligations, maintaining friendships, the list goes on. I know it's about prioritizing and only doing what you can do, but it weighs on me, some days more than others. Today is one of those days.
