So this might be a little gross, but I was reading a little about symptoms and all the pregnant women encounter and I read the hemorrhoids are a possibility. First of all, gross! Second, I soooo hope that does not happen to me!
Are you kidding me? Pretty much everyone I know has them/has had them w/pregnancy and delivery. If you think hemorrhoids are gross, wait until you squeeze a baby out of your vag and see what's accompanied with it.

ugh i have them and it is NOT fun. a lot of pregnant women get them, they're uncomfortable. but if hemorrhoids mean my baby is perfectly fine, then so be it! it's worth it to me.

This! Hemorroids are not the grosset thing you're going to deal with, by a long shot.
Actually that's probably the one thing I didn't ever have in any of my pregnancies, crossing my fingers as I type that I dont' this time either. But yeah...so the least of your worries lol!

Its a part of pregnancy, seriously? You're going to get them, and you are going to have to deal with them, more than likely through pregnancy and during labor they get worse.

This. Pregnancy is not for the squeamish...

Maybe you will not get them....third pbaby and haven't had one yet. However, I agree with the rest of the ladies on here...definitely not the grossest thing you have to worry about.
Had them. They suck. I'm on my second and I'm guessing they will be here again. Everything has been worse this time around and I'm even experiencing now unpleasant things. This is my LAST pregnancy. haha. BUT all's worth it in the end and hopefully I can get some of my body back.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all.

I can't wait to see how she feels when she is cleaning the first baby poo after birth. I almost died.. LOL
I hope you ladies noticed that this isn't my first rodeo. I have a 4 year old and I was still in college when I had him. My pregnancy with DS #1 was simple and smooth...no morning sickness, no swollen feet or hands, no anything! I actually didn't even look or feel pregnant until I was almost 7 months along! This pregnancy has gone smoothly just like the first one and the only reason I even posted was because I have asked several of my close friends who've gone through pregnancy and none of them had hemorrhoids either. So I was mostly curious to see just how many women actually do get them. If I get them, I get them...never had them before and praying that I don't.

You didn't actually ask a question you made a statement. Which is what threw us off. Compared to everything else.. roids is a small thing in the grand scheme of things. I had mild roids after DD.
I have had an issue with them before- not pregnancy related, but when I had my appendix out, the morphine made it impossible for me to go, and the straining led to it... TMI, sorry.
HOWEVER, the doctor gave me some hydrocortisone suppositories and they work WONDERS. When they act up, I use one a day or a day or two, and it immediately drops the swelling & takes away the pain and I don't have an issue again for a couple of months. They're manageable- and if they bother you a whole lot you can have them removed.

Well, if you didn't have any constipation with pregnancy, then you're less likely to get them. Although, some women get them who don't strain at all on the toilet, it's just the extra pressure from all the weight you're carrying around the middle. Meh, to me it's small potatoes considering all the other things that could happen.
Brought home an extra special souvenir from vacation!
