What is the best method of wrapping a newborn? My LO is 11.5 pounds. I just got mine yesterday and I'm trying to figure out what the easiest, safest method is to carry my DD. I have the directions, but can't seem to get a good wrap yet.
I was going to post a similar question. I just put Beck in ours for the first time. It was hard to get him in without his head being scrunched down (which I know is what you want to avoid). I ended up putting the side his head is on off my shoulder a little bit and he is conked out. I am just wearing it around the house for now to make sure it feels safe.
Definitely check out some videos on YouTube. You have to be able to kiss your LO's head, if not, LO is too low. I use the Hug Hold and the Kangaroo Hold, because Adalyn doesn't like the Newborn hold, where the legs are tucked in.
GL! I absolutely love it, and it is a great way to soothe her when she is fussy and/or I need to get her to fall asleep. I strap her in and walk around the house and within minutes, she is asleep!

I love our moby it's been a life saver for chasing my 19 month old and still caring for lo. We love the kangaroo hold. Plus I've found for going out if I Pre wrap myself at home and then just put lo in it when we get where we're going it works much better than trying to wrap in the parking lot.
It should have come with a book that explains the wraps... if not, the website probably has them. I use the newborn hug hold gathered not folded. I tried both and liked how the folded looked but DD seems to like the gathered more. I think because she is not in the pocket and closer to my skin. You tube it and find a video to walk you through it if the directions don't make sense. I found the book easy to follow.

Make sure you tie it tight... Also when you put them into it sort of sling them over your shoulder and inch their feet in first so it doesn't stretch out too much on you. My DD loves the moby so I have become a pro at getting her into it.
Re: For those using a Moby
Search YouTube for Moby wrap newborn hug hold
The videos help!
