Ugh, some people! (Vent)

So MH and I went to a graduation party this weekend.  There was a young girl there who got accidentally knocked up (she's around 5 months or so.)  She had the nerve to chastise me about having my toenails painted -- then she proceeded to eat a hot dog and smoke a cigarette!  Fortunately, I did not actually witness the smoking or I would have said something for sure.  But MH did, and he immediately came inside and got me and said we should probably go.  He is normally the laid back guy who never gets upset, but I guess after all we have been through, it's just hard to see someone care so little about themselves and their little one. 
TTC with PCOS since November 2009
IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    You said it just right, some people?!?! Geesh. I am glad DH was sweet enough to say let's get up out of here before you had to witness anymore of her stupidity. And for the record, my toenails are painted too ;-)

    My toe nails are bright pink and beautiful!! So glad DH got you out of there. I wouldn't have been able to keep my mouth shut!

    You have got to be kidding me!!  She would probably stroke out at my acrylic nails.  FFS some people need to get a life and learn that there are worse things, like SMOKING.  LOL!

    OMG - When I asked my Ob about painting my nails she said it's fine as long as I don't eat the nail polish...

    What a whack-job to chastise you about painting your nails and then she lights up a cigarette? I would've laughed in her face!!

    I'm glad your DH said something - I wouldn't have been able to keep quiet either.

    My goodness!  I would NOT have been able to keep my mouth shut if that happened to ME! It's sweet of YH to get you out of there.

    And what the heck is wrong w/nail polish?  MH actually made me ask my OB about it at my 1st appt, and she laughed and said "of course it's okay to paint your nails. Better yet, have YOUR husband paint them!"
