New here :-) EDD 2/2/13 after FET! But, now I'm bleeding,...

I can join this board again :-) quick history: have a daughter, Reese who's 4, after our first IVF. Weve since done 2 FETs and 2 IUIs with no success. In May, we did an FET with donor embryos and got our BFP! All looked good with my betas and my first ultrasound is scheduled for Wednesday! 

 

BUT, this past Friday I started bleeding. And bleeding bad. And cramping. The cramping wasn't too bad, just a dull ache. Called the on call nurse Friday night who had me put on an extra estrogen patch and got me in for an u/s first thing Saturday morning. I went in completely devastated. The dr started the ultrasound and we saw our sweet baby. All looked good!!! :-) too early to see a heartbeat but he said for this stage, all looked healthy. So, I breathed a small sigh of relief. The bleeding still scares me. 

 

Im still bleeding. I'm not "soaking a pad" but it's bright red. I have passed a few very small clots on Friday night. And tr cramping goes and come. I just want the bleeding to STOP!! I know it's "normal" after IVF/FET but it's still so so scary.

 

Any stories to encourage me?? I go back on Wednesday for another u/s and am on bed rest until then.

    There is a few girls on the board jus in the past couple of days that had bleeding but very thing is ok for them. Wishing you healthy vibes!

    I had bleeding at 7 weeks similar to what you describe and an ultrasound revealed a SCH (basically a blood clot in my uterus), very common in IVF/FET patients. My RE explained that blood is an irritant, which is why I also had cramping. Very scary but everything turned out fine. Good luck on Wednesday!

    First of all, congrats on your BFP and welcome to the board!  I am so sorry you are bleeding, that is so scary.  FX for you that it's nothing to worry about, a lot of girls have had early bleeding and everything turned out okay.  GL and keep us posted.

    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I had bleeding around 8 weeks. I don't care how normal they tell you it is, it does not feel normal.  Just hang in there and rest!  Praying this passes fast for you.

    2007 Start w/ RE (Endo and MFI previous marriage)/ 2008 Vericocele surgery/3 clomid cycles
    2009 Lap removed stage III endo/ 2 failed IUI/ Divorce

    2011 Remarried
    October 2011 Dx: Endo & DOR/ November 2011- clomid & TI cycle
    January 2012 IVF~  Flare protocol 10 ER/ 9 mature fertilized with ICSI/ ET- 2 Grade A Blasts/ 4 frozen= BFN
    Febuary 2012- -Endo Biopsy/  MTHFR diagnosis
    March 8- FET 2 grade A blasts= BFP!!!!

    November 2012-  Charles was born by emergency C-Section

    Dealing with:
    Stage III Endo/ DOR/ MTHFR two mutations C677T & A1298C

    Currently TTC #2  FET planned January 2014

    Thank y'all for the kind words and prayers. I'm still bleeding. Hasn't increased or decreased. No cramps still. My nurse moved my u/s to tomorrow. I sure pray it brings us good news.
