Well I don't want to scare you but my supply did go way down. As a matter of fact I stopped past friday. My AF came 5/19 and my supply was low to begin with but after that it really dropped.
BUT, my DHs cousin's wife got her AF only a month after delivery but exclusively BFd for 8 months and then continued until both boys (so she did it twice) were almost 2.
This is the third time I've had my period since LO was born. (The first time, I was like WTF...didn't look or act normal.) And this is the only time that my supply has been really affected. By affected, I mean cut in half. But this is also the first time my period actually looked "normal" by my pre-pregnancy standards.
I'm expecting everything to go back to normal because I'm keeping up my normal pumping routine. It may take a week or so, but I expect it will.
My period came back very early. It will dip your supply but just keep doing everything as per normal and it should come back. Mine always did. So it was only low for those few days I was on my period.

Re: AF & Supply
Hi...

So it just depends what your body does
Good luck!
