  We got the Happi Tree Memory Book in loose leaf so we can add additional pages for cards or photos.  Also comes in a bound version and one for boy or girl.

  I got a nice one at Hallmark, they had a few to choose from.  Also saw an ok one at Target.

  I had a really hard time finding a baby book that was not too cutesy for my taste, did not have a million pages that I knew I would never get around to filling in, and did not cost a fortune.  I wound up ordering this one off of Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/83499424

  I haven't gotten it yet, so I can't comment on how happy I am with it.  I was unhappy with all the options I found in stores though, so I feel your pain, but now that I am full term I wanted something fast so I can take it to the hospital for footprints!

  I couldn't believe some of the prices on etsy. I'm sure they are beautiful but over $100 for a baby book?! 

   

  I totally agree!  I can't imagine paying the prices of half of the things I would like to get for this baby.
