I LOVED Ina May Gaskins guide to childbirth. I also really liked the thinking women's guide to a better birth by Henci Goer. We are taking Bradley classes and are really enjoying them. My DH and I liked the book Husband coached childbirth by Dr Bradley (we read it with the classes) but other people didnt enjoy it as much, so that one you may or may not like!!
Honestly one of my favorite books ever is Pushed by Jennifer Block. It will make you glad 1,000 times over that you are considering a natural, physiological birth. I also liked Business of Being Born, but found that Pushed was less political, less judgmental, and provided tons of evidence to support her findings. It in no way criticizes women who do not pursue a natural birth, but it does an excellent job of assessing routine interventions that are often pushed upon pregnant women today.... and explains why each one may or may not be best for mother or baby.
On the more how-to side, I also like Ina May's Guide. The Birth Partner by Simkin is nice for dads, and I'm enjoying The Whole Pregnancy Handbook by Joel Evans (written by an OB with a very holistic approach). I skipped Henci Goer's because I heard rumors that a new edition with updated information will be coming out this summer.
Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

Ina May Gaskin's 3 books "Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth", "Spiritual Midwifery" and "Birth Matters". I own all 3 and found them to be incredibly informative and inspirational.
