Got cloth diapers at my baby shower :)

So my MIL got me a six pack of one size Charlie Banana diapers in the girly colors and my sister got me 4 diaper covers (I already have prefolds) and an AIO. My DH's family loved seeing the diapers and we had a long chat about how they've changed since DH and I were little. I'm so glad our families are supportive of cloth diapers. Can't wait til LO is here so we can put the diapers to use. Also got really excited about getting flannel from my mom to make more wipes :) Now I need to prep, make more wipes and make fleece liners!

    I saw your subject and wished there was a "like" button! Most of my family was not very supportive of CDs (you'll do it for a week and then switch, that type of thing). So glad that yours is! :D

    Awesome! We got a lot of fluff at our baby shower, but I live in a CD friendly area. It always fun to show it off to skeptics.

    Awesome! I put a ton on my registry and am HOPING that I get a few but I'm a little iffy, I only have a couple friends and family who seem to 'get' the whole CD thing.

    You're lucky.  I had cloth diapers on my registry, and what I got were a bunch of disposables because everyone told me I wouldn't stick with it.  I did get a pack of gerbers prefolds, but they're not absorbant enough and have been deligated to burp cloths.  I wish my family was more supportive and helped me get the cloth I registered for.

    That's awesome! DH's cousin got us two newborn diaper covers, and I swear, those things are so much cuter in person than they are online. It's adorable. Nobody got us anything else, but at the same rate, we didn't get any disposable products either! MIL made the comment "you can put the cover over disposable diapers" and I said "yeah, but there's no reason to, especially since we're using cloth." She has a very "lol let's see how long this lasts" attitude but she's stayed out of it. On the other hand my parents have offered to by all of our prefolds and some covers!
