Funny stories about your LO
Thought this would be a good post to start. What are some funny stories about your LO?
Mine....
- During one of our days at the hospital, DH was changing LO's diaper while I was in the bathroom. All of a sudden I hear him say, "Leslie - stop! OMG Heather, it's coming out from both ends!" And I'm trying so hard not to laugh, cause ya know, it hurts after a c/s. I walk out to help him & before he got to put a clean diaper on, she had started pooping & spitting up at the same time!
- Today (our first day home) he had placed her in the bouncer to see if she likes it. Well as soon as he turned it on, she gets this look on her face. The 'I'm pooping face'. I'm just like, "Oh god, is this what it's gonna do for you - make you poop?" Well, she continues on, bring her knees up to her stomach & stays like that. Then she gradually goes into the 'Thinker's Pose' with her fist underneath her chin & it looked like she was just thinking so hard! We just started busting out laughing.
Oh, and I did not know that baby girls can spray out pee! Learned that the hard way!

Haha! I think every funny story about a newborn is gonna involve poop!
I was out with DD a few weeks ago and carried her into a store. Everyone was like "oh so cute!" and suddenly she LETS RIP and this massive spray of mustard baby turd came out of her diaper, all on her onesie and on me! So I ran her to the car, grabbed the diaper bag and started changing her on the back seat only to have her poop right into the new diaper... so I got that off, grabbed another wetwipe and when I turned back to her she has this deadly serious stare on her face, and was proceeding to pee UPWARD onto her HEAD. I laughed my ass off, the expression on her face never changed. I spent the next 10 minutes cleaning up this poop and pee covered baby in my car as best I could... lol.
And there was a fun time when she was rooting around on DH's chest and lunged into his armpit, haha! So gross.

Yesterday, we got to have our first sponge bath since his winky is all healed up now. I got him all cleaned and he smelled so good! Then, he settled in for a little snack and relaxed for a nap and pooped. I'm changing his diaper when all of the sudden, he lets loose and pees on his freshly washed head! He's kind of blinking like WTH? I slam the diaper closed and wipe his face and head clean. Guess he needs another bath?
Another thing...he motorboats me when he's trying to latch if he's super hungry. Just before he gets frustrated, he'll growl at my chest and then latch with a vengeance. "You're not getting away this time!!!" Like its me that's moving? Silly baby.
Baby always waits for a clean diaper to continue pooping and gives us the "I know you are made of money and can afford to waste it on diapers" look of satisfaction on her face.
She also pooped on me before a job interview.
She frequently does the "oh, woe is me" back of the hand to the forehead pose.
Yep! Any time someone holds him in cradle position, he roots on them. Then he gets mad there's no food there. "But, why's the breast gone?!" He also roots on his, swaddlers, waking himself up from sleep. That one makes me crazy!
