I had an awful dream last night that I started having major contractions, noone at my local hospital was helpful, and I lost both babies at 20 weeks. Thankfully it was just a dream, but it's really put a damper on my day. I know how precious each day is with keeping multiple babies healthy.
My next question is I read the post about the IC at 18 weeks and that her doctor noticed it at her cervical check. The peri (who I haven't been seeing, but looks at all mulitples ultrasounds and then comes and talks to you), said my cervix looked good at my "big" ultrasound almost 2 weeks ago measuring over 3cm, but I don't have another appt. with my doctor til Dec. 10th. They've still been every 4 weeks. She said my ultrasounds would move to every 3 weeks, but that wouldn't be til starting after I see her on the 10th. If you have an IC do you feel anything or is only found through cervical checks? How quickly can they go from normal to troubling? I know it's normal to worry, but I also feel like people are having more appointments than me. My twins are dichorionic/diamniotic if that matters... but I don't think so. I know that's why they aren't worried about me seeing additional doctors at this point.

Re: had horrible dream and IC question
I don't want to scare you, but my cervix shorted rather quickly and I had no symptoms at all (I didn't have any contractions until I went into labor at 32w6d). I was put on bedrest at 24w -- at my 20w u/s my cervix measured 4, at 22w it was down to 2.2 and I was put on modified bedrest and one week later it was down to 1.8 and I spent the next 9 weeks on strict bedrest.
My biggest advice (and I wish my dr had told me this) -- is take it easy as early as possible. Limit using the stairs, lay down as often as you can. I had horrible m/s for 10 - 12 weeks and when I started to feel human again I start to over-do it. That is when I landed on bedrest.
I'm sure you will be fine! Take care (and I hope you don't have any more scary dreams!!).
