TTC After a Loss

Kinda freaking out - chart stalk?

So. I'm 4dpo, and bleeding. A little more than spotting but not pad or tampon-worthy. About 90% of the time when I wipe there's blood, occasionally clots.

I am fairly certain about my O date, with a positive OPK and temp shift. So my question is, WTF is going on? I know you can't tell me for certain, but your guess is as good as mine. Do i need to schedule a pap ASAP to see what this is all about, or do I wait it out and just see what happens?

Thanks if you got through my rambling. I'd leave some wine or cookies, but im iPad bumping.

  • Your ovulation date is pretty clear. It is too early for implantation.

So I guess I'm saying I have no idea either. Hopefully it stops soon though :(

  • Yikes. I don't have any advice, but I know occasional random spotting isn't an emergency. I'd probably wait it out. Do you know if you have progesterone issues?
It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.
  • Yikes, that sucks.  I imagine your LPs are usually significantly longer than 2-3 days.  I did have some 3 and 4 day LPs before I took vitamin b6.  Any chance this is just a really weird cycle?  I do agree that your O is pretty solid.

I'd wait it out a few more days and if the bleeding doesn't get worse but stays constant when wiping, I'd call.

I'm wondering about the progesterone too? So sorry this is happening, I can only imagine how frustrating it is!

  • Thanks, ladies.

I've been a little curious about progesterone during past cycles with 9 or 10 day LPs. Maybe they could get me in for 7dpo bloodwork, which would be Tuesday. By then, I suppose, I'll know if it's AF or just random breakthrough bleeding.

I would definitely do this if they can get you a script! Other than that I don't have much advice... I have lots and lots of {{hugs}} though!!
