I know that I have been on here a few times, posting questions and considering the adoption process. My H and I are now committed to moving forward with adoption, and we are very excited!

We will be spending the summer making a few needed repairs to our home (such as a much-needed reno of our future nursery) and researching adoption. We hope to apply in early-late autumn. We plan to pursue domestic newborn adoption at this time, but who knows what our plans will be once we do some more research.

My H is adopted, and he is very excited about our decision. I was worried that he would be disappointed to not have a biological child, but he is totally on board and ready to move. We are ready to be parents, and we feel that adoption is a great choice for building our family!

I'm sure that I will have tons of questions, so bear with the newb a little ! TIA for your support and guidance!

Started TTC 2/2009
Started fertility treatments 11/2010
Ovarian dysfunction, LPD, male factor
6 failed medicated IUI's
Pregnant 5/2011 - Miscarriage at 6 weeks due to triploidy
Decided to adopt - 6/2012
SURPRISE! Pregnant without intervention - 7/2012 
Sweet Baby James Born 3/2013
Decided to be "One and Done"

....OR NOT.
Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills
Here we go again...
Due 8/26/19!

    RE App. October 2011 - Recc. Clomid and IUI

    Taking a break from TTC to pursue adoption

    Met our 2 year old son in Russia July 2012!
    Court trip October 2012
    Home November 24 2012!

    Back to RE Summer 2013. TTC journey continues: 

    Dx DOR, endometriosis, low sperm count 
    Clomid + IUI#1, #2 = BFN / IUI #3 = ???

    Laparoscopy scheduled December 2013

    Welcome! I read your post on 3T and it reminded me of the relief DH and I felt at the end of last summer when we decided to move on to adoption. Here's hoping you have a short wait!
