Need happy be nice vibes!

MIL and two SILs and one of their finances  come tomorrow to stay with us for the  weekend.  Y'all probably don't remember but this is the woman who didn't even want to meet her first grandchild because it was her sons and not her daughters.  Basically all the women in DHs family get special treatment and the men get the sh*t treatment.  Still, you can imagine how upset DH was when his mom said she was too busy to meet her grandson.  After a week and a heated phone conversation between the two, she had a "change of heart." basically I need strength going into this weekend.  She and I do not see eye to eye and now she'll also have two of her daughters here to back her up.  DH is working until Saturday afternoon so I'll be alone with them and my son for the better part of the day.  I need to be able to put on my happy face and let things ride in my hormonal, sleeplessness state.  Just asking for those good vibes!

    Eek! You have my sympathy. I know I failed miserably at my be nice visit on Tuesday.

    Sending happy thoughts!!! Just remember as awful as she may be with out her you wouldnt have your dh.  Hopefully that will help. Good luck!!

    Ahhh, good luck!  Remember, you only need to do this for this weekend!  Then she will be gone!  Haha.

    This made me think of the Honeymooners episode where Ralph was working on anger management "Pins and needles, needles and pins. It's a happy man who grins. Grrrrrr"
