I got a pregnany yoga video, do you think this will help? My muscles are seriously so stretched that it sometimes hurts to move myself around the couch. They feel sore almost all the time and I feel stretched. Ideas??
I haven't done pregnancy yoga, so I don't know if it will help, but I'm interested to see what other people reply with. I'm in the same boat -- stomach muscles so stretched out and weak that it's painful.?
hmm I bought a pregnancy yoga and pilates dvd but I haven't felt ambitious enough to actually do it...
I go to my trainer who makes me get off my ass. We don't usually do anything targeting the stomach, but we do do a lot of arm stuff that requires keeping my stomach muscles tight.. maybe I should start using the dvds..
i really like standing crunches- put one arm behind your head and lean back as far as you can- stick the opposite leg out farther then your balancing leg- lift then pull in to your chest and bring your upper body in as far as you can without falling over, keep doing this about 20 times each side, rest and do again for two more reps. its pretty hard but it works alot of your core because your balancing.
i also like sitting on the floor with my legs out and slightly bent, i grab a 10lb weight and hold it infront of my boobs while i sit slightly backwards and rotate from left to right- each rotation is one count and i do that 20 times 3x as well. this will make you sore! it its easy up the weight.
