FB 'Check-ins'...check-ins themselves actually don't bother me and I do them on occasion...however, please DO NOT 'check-in' when you location is a hospital (unless, of course...you work there) and not include the why, the what, etc.  It's just as bad as the vague status updates...and sometimes even worse (I compare it to whenever I called my MIL from work when I worked at various hospitals...the hospital name would show up on her caller ID causing instant panic until she realized it was me).

    This!  I am WAAAAY nosy!!  Hence being FB friends with half the people on my profile.  I never talk to them, but I'm nosy and want to know what's going on in their worlds!

    I just ignore vaguebookers.  I feel if you want to tell me what is wrong you will.  Otherwise you are just an AW and I will not bite on the line of attention you are dangeling.
