Super nervous about pre-e

On Tuesday night I was having really uncomfortable contractions about 10 minutes apart, so I figured I might be in labor and I should go ahead and lay down and sleep while I still could. I woke up again at 11:45, and couldn't get back to sleep after that because the contractions were getting stronger and closer together, so I woke DH up at about 1:30am to tell him how uncomfortable I was. He thought I should call the on-call doctor, and I did... he was totally unhelpful and clearly just wanted to get back to sleep... he said I should time them (I told him I was trying but I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right) and then just hung up. DH and I waited around another 30 minutes or so and they seemed to be about 3 minutes apart, so we went in to L&D to get everything checked out.
I honestly was expecting them to confirm that I was having regular contractions, and either decide to keep me, or send me home... I was alright with either, I just wanted some information since the on-call doctor was so unhelpful. They brought me into a side room and did what I assume is standard testing - checked my temp, my heart rate, and my blood pressure, and although I was nervous about maybe being in labor, I really didn't worry at all about those tests. The nurse called the doctor right away, though... turned out that my bp was 178/105... which is unreasonably high anyway, but especially since I've been at 120/60 - 130/75. They sent me straight up to L&D and kept me there until 5am. My bp slowly went down over time, and it was finally 130/85 at 5am when they sent me home, since I had a dr. appt scheduled Wednesday morning anyway for 9:30.
My OB was obviously worried about my bp from the night before, and I was still reading 130/85 at her appointment, which isn't super high, but it's a little high for me... I've never had any protein in my urine, but they have me on a 24-hour urine test now that I'm going to turn in this morning. She said that if it comes back funny, they're going to induce me tonight.
I know that I'll have some real information this afternoon, but I'm having trouble just chilling out until then... I really want a natural delivery, and I'm a little worried about LO's health, and whether I'll have to be induced, and whether I'll have to take a ton of medications now if I do end up with pre-e. Is there anyone around that has pre-e or has any experience with it? Anything I should do (other than just chill out... I'm trying)? My OB knows that I'd prefer a natural delivery, so she assured us that if she does want to induce, she won't be in a huge rush and said she would prefer that I have a 30-hour labor and finally deliver Saturday morning at 2am, than decide at 5pm on Friday to just go ahead with a C-section so she can get out of there. I really like her and trust her, but I'm still super nervous!

Yikes! Good luck! It sounds like your doctor has a good head on her shoulders, so try to take comfort in that. Are you already on maternity leave? Try to relax both physically and mentally as much as you can.
My Rx for you would be ice cream and reality television, stat!!!!!! But then, I'm no doctor...
Doctor finally called back, and my urine test came back normal. Woo! I'm totally willing to write it off as something weird that popped up.
I'm actually staying at home to finish up my degree, so I'm going to take things easy for awhile... ice cream sounds fantastic =D So does reality tv, but we canceled our cable to save money... I'll just put in a Disney movie lol
