I hope you ladies wouldn't mind answering a question from a baby wearing newbie!
I never wore DD1. When I was pregnant with DD2 I decided I wanted to give it a try so I bought a Moby. I have worn DD2 in the Moby quite a bit and I really like it. I actually can't imagine doing things like taking two kids to the store or park without it! DD2 is about 17lbs, and I just don't feel like the Moby gives me the support I would like anymore. So I am looking into getting a different carrier that I can use for a long time and that I can do a back carry with. I am hesitant to spend a lot of money on a carrier since I don't use it all the time. I was thinking a Mei Tai since they are a little less expensive but seem fairly versatile.
Is the BabyHawk Mei Tai difficult to tie? I feel like I am not to scared of this since I found the Moby relatively easy to figure out how to wrap. Anything else I should consider? Would you recommend this carrier or something completely different?
I would appreciate any and all advice. Thank you in advance!
Re: BabyHawk Mei Tai
The Babyhawk is a dream to tie, plus the fabrics are super cute.
However, if you found the Moby easy to negotiate, you might want to consider a woven. You would get more versatility from a wrap. I suck at wrapping, which is why I adore my BH.
Look! I put the diaper on the baby!
