Q about Growth Spurts

Hey there, those of you who have experienced LO's 3 week or 6 week growth spurts did you find they went from your LO's due date or date of birth?

My LO is 3 weeks today (from birth) and 4 weeks and 1 day from due date. I don't know if we have had the growth spurt yet. Ya he is has had fussy days etc but that's it. I ask because I have heard most developmental marks for newborns go from due date not from birth date.

    Hmm, interesting thought. I'm pretty sure it's birth date, but my lo has been random so far. Every baby is different, and just because they're "supposed" to experience something at a certain time doesn't mean they have to...  they'll do what's right for them :)

    My LO has been right on track from his birthdate, even though that was 3 weeks before his due date.

    Birth date.  I didn't really experience the 10 day or 3 week one, or at least I had no idea if it was happening.  When she had the 6 week one I wasn't really sure what was happening, but realized pretty quickly when she started wanting to eat almost every hour.

    I totally noticed at 10 days - he was eating quite a bit but spitting a lot up and fussing on the bottle. now that he's 6 weeks tomorrow he's been fussing with the bottle in his mouth again today and eating NONSTOP. he's crankier and doesn't want to be laid down so I'm pretty sure this is another growth spurt.  I just keep trying to remember it's only a few days! :)
