We finally have a walker!  LO decided to stand by herself and take her first steps all in the same day.  She didn't nap in the afternoon yesterday so maybe it took her being delirious to finally take the plunge!

    Wow!  She walked far for her first time!  I can only get DD to walk two steps before she goes to her knees again, and she's been doing that for weeks.

    They just do it when they want to :)  She has been walking holding one of our hands for probably 2 months now....I felt like she has been ready to walk for a long long time, but was on her own schedule.

    Too cute!  I love it how the mamas/daddies/fans are always more excited than the kids themselves.

    She just kept going and going! You're so right about them being on their own schedule. People have been telling us for months now that Emma is "so, so close" and she just won't do it. I'm glad I don't put too much stock in what everyone else is saying or I'd be one worried momma!
