S/O Where to register?

Can someone help me with the whole Amazon "universal registry" thing? I've downloaded the special button and started using it, and was planning on not having a separate BRU registry, just adding things from their website through the universal Amazon button, but when people go into a BRU store, how will it get marked off my registry if it's only through Amazon?

I'm sorry if this is a totally moronic question...pregnancy brain is one of my early and roaring symptoms at this point.

TIA!

Re: S/O Where to register?

  • So far I have had like 30 things bought of my Buy Buy Baby Registry and about 20 things off my Amazon registry- none of which is from the universal registry items. I think it seems overwhelming for shoppers who are used to just regular old amazon.

So I agree with PP, register at BRU too if you have a lot of items you want from there. I have had mostly out of town people send me gifts through amazon and local people want somewhere to go and look at cute baby things.

This was my main concern with doing the universal registry thing. I think I will just do a regular registry through BRU for some things, but the bigger items I will keep on the Amazon one since most of the time it seems they offer a better price than BRU.

    Thanks for your help ladies!
