I'm actually eating an apple as I read this! I like trailmix and can vary up the kinds of nuts. Nuts are very filling. And you will get a bit of salty sweet if you add raisins or cranberries to the mix.
Make sure your snacks have protein! I'm doing the Body Back program right now and the meal plan is based on clean eating and getting protein. My favorite snack is 1/2 c nonfat greek yogurt, 1/4 c blueberries and 1/8 c almonds. Greek yogurt has way more protein and is very filling IMO.
You could also do hummus or white bean dip with veggies, almonds and dried apricots, wrap a slice of turkey around asparagus

Try cutting the carbs and upping the fat & protein in your main meals and you may find you don't need to snack between meals. If I am hungry/snacky, I go for mixed nuts & dried fruit (its the crunchy/sweet combo that gets me!), or fruit in general now that we are in season there's lots to choose from. If I'm really hungry, I'll do some plain full fat greek yogurt with some berries in it (add a little honey if that's not sweet enough), or a cheese stick.
