Being Pregnant is Keeping me from Hurting People (NBRish)

and becoming too stressed! I keep reminding myself that it's not good for the baby for me to get upset and overly stressed.

This post will be a vent! Heads up!

See, BIL is getting married on Saturday (see THIS post)

So, in addition to what happened in that post, H's tux was delivered to a store an hour and 1/2 away.  Not H's or BIL's fault. It's the company's. Brides mom volunteered to bring the tux to us, but when we explained that we both had to work today and couldn't meet them (we gave options of bringing to our home or to rehearsal tomorrow) it didn't go over so well. This was last night.

Well, when the bride starting texting H at 7am this morning (we were still sleeping) I almost lost it - and when she starting texting ME at 7:30 to do stuff I lost it and told H to fix it.

She also called me at work, was mad when I did not answer and called H in a huff and wanted me to LEAVE work to go pick up the tux. Hmm Yeah. No.

I ended up getting done early and could have met someone, but at this point I told H that I needed to be away from them (brides family - not H's) otherwise I might accidentally say/do something and make others upset, which I really don't want to do.

SOOOOOO....You guys get to hear about my sorrows! I did go to Arby's to treat myself to a meal and a pepsi. A REAL pepsi. Which is prob. just as bad as stress, but better in my book! Big Smile

  • LOL I had read your previous post, and now this one. A trip to Arby's was definitely warranted. As was the Pepsi.

Thankfully, you only have to survive the weekend, and *hopefully* that will be the end of the stress. Hang in there... and I totally wouldn't blame you for making sneaking an embarrassing picture into a wedding slideshow... ;)

  • What a bridezilla!  I would send her a photo, enjoying a piece of one of the cakes you made for her with a nice tall glass of milk.

  • I think you need to have some really bad MS Saturday and not show up in time for set-up.  And of course, have to leave before tear-down.

That show stresses me out! no joke! I can't watch it - I used to watch the British version before baby - but now I can't! I can't want scary/suspenseful and even some dramatic shows!  I've had to ask H to turn the channel a few times!

And I'll be going to the rehersal/wedding/reception. Mostly because I want food and cake. H's aunt is making the food and it is yummy!

Unfortunately H has to be there at noon for pics. wedding is at 2pm, they're doing the 'separate' wedding pictures first and then group shots after. I don't really have a problem with this - but I'll have 2 hrs to hang out, maybe I'll bring a book or nap in the car!

  • I would've told her a long time ago that all this was her responsibility, not mine! I mean, seriously, all this on your plate? No thanks, I'm married already. I'd have told her, "Not my problem, not my concern."
