Two Under 2

Strollers. Also posted on nurseries and baby gear.

So we just found out we are expecting baby number two. By the time number two comes our DD will be 2. So I'm trying to figure out what type of stroller we should look into. I know it's early but I'm just trying to find out whatever I can now so maybe I can get a used one or a good deal on one. TIA!

  • It would be great if they cup holders for both seats.

  • no advise, but i am in the same boat and interested to see what people have to say..
  • I have a graco Duo glider - tandem. I don't like it. You can read my post below. I just ordered a Joovy x2 double stroller - after seeing the huge bottom basket and hardly any bad reviews I had to get it!  However it's on back order so it will be July when I get it. I will post a review.

  • I would recommend a sit and stand.  My daughter is 21months and already is fighting me every time I put her in the stroller b/c she wants to be independent and walk.  We have the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Double, so I think I may start using it as a sit and stand rather than a true double, I think she will like it better.

  • Stroller preference is very unique to the user.  I have very tall kids, so the City Select was out.  My toddler is encouraged to sit when he is sitting with someone, so I needed a side by side.  I needed something light (bad back) and compact (small trunk) and that had a great sun shade.  I wanted to be able to go off roading (SAHM and we do a lot of outdoor "field trips.")  I borrowed a friend's Sit N Stand and it was a nightmare, my DS wasn't comfortable so he wanted to get out, he dragged his feet and tripped me and screamed when I stepped on him, it was heavy to push and bulky in the car.

We went with the Baby Jogger City Mini GT.  Love it!
