My cyst went down from a 10.5 to a 7 so I started stims Monday. My first monitoring appointment is tomorrow.

QOTW: I'm supposed to wear glasses but I haven't worn them in months. I got them when I was 17. I failed the eye exam during the driver's test and had to get checked out. My left eye was barely off and there's just a lens with no prescription in it.

Still on bcps, had our nurse consult today and will be starting stims 6/15.

QOTW: I wear contacts and can't see a darn thing without them (not even the huge E at the top of the eye chart). I think I started wearing glasses when I was 7.

I haven't checked in in awhile but finally have something to report. I just started BCPs and should have the transfer for FET #1 the week of 7/23. QOTW: I've worn glasses since fourth grade and contacts since 9th grade. My eyesight is awful. LASIK used to be on my wishlist until we started spending all our disposable money on IF.

I started stimming June 5 and still am right now. Go in for 2nd U/S this Friday. Otherwise, nothing else is new here!

QOTW: Contacts....I started them when I was 14 years old and haven't regretted it since!

Update: Tomorrow is my baseline! I am freaking out! I cant believe Im doing this again. I am also very concerned about 3 shots a day!

QOTW: I needed glasses I believe around 4th grade. I just didn't write anything down because I couldn't see the board I got contacts I believe in 8th or 9th grade. Now i flip back and forth between the two. I like having options.

GL with your FET!!! So happy you are moving forward! I had lasik done before I knew we had IF - so glad I did it then b/c you are right - we wouldn't be able to afford it now!

I did call my RE - but I can't even get an appt. with her until the beginning of July - so we'll decide from there exactly what we are going to do next.

I took my last Provera yesterday so AF should be here this weekend. So I'm just chillin now.

QOTD: Yes, I wear contacts but prefer to wear my glasses now that I have new ones. I started wearing glasses around 12 and just started wearing contacts two years ago. I have tried 8 different brands and cannot find one pair that I love. I settle because I'm a photographer and it's way better to have contacts...even if my eyes water 90% of the time Sad

I am on BCP right now. I stop on the 15th, then go in for b/w on the 19th & if all good, will start stims that day.

I wear glasses. Started when I was 19. I have contacts, but they give me headaches, so I don't normally wear them.

update: I had my polyp removed on Monday, and I start estrace 6/13.
qotw: I started wearing glasses in 7th grade and got to switch to contacts two weeks later because gymnastics and glasses don't mix (at least not the level I was at). I go back and forth between the two now

QOTW: I started wearing glasses in 3rd grade. I switched to contacts in 8th grade. I dont even have glasses with my updated prescription, so I only wear contacts. I've been wanted to get some glasses, but it's not really a priority right now.

I am doing timed intercourse with progesterone supps over the summer until ivf#2 in September. We had our wtf yesterday and they made some protocol changes for next time. We also will do a day three transfer next time no matter how many Embryos we have since our six embryos were great quality on day three and only two were fair quality on day five.

QOTW: I am supposed to wear glasses but rarely do except for when I'm driving. I started in high school. I tried contacts but i just always felt like something was in my eyes.

Not much new here - just did our prelim blood work this AM in advance of our orientation next Friday.

Random tip - I started reading The Couples Guide to IVF last night and so far I think it's a pretty good read.

QOTW - I wear glasses to drive at night. I also wear them during the day if it is raining. I started wearing glasses after college. I think I ruined my eyesight by picking at my split ends.

I'm just starting my first IVF cycle. Still waiting on AF (who should be here any day now as I was on Aygestin last month and then BCP for a week and accoriding to my RE AF should be here today or tomorrow), but I have an appt on Saturday with my RE for b/w and baseline u/s. Right now, my ER date is June 21 and ET is June 26. Super excited and hopeful!!!

Was wondering if I could be added to future cycles for IVF #1? We are still in the planning stages, and meeting with another RE for a second opinion but we hope to start BCP in July, with ER and ET some time in August.

QOTW: I wear both, contacts more than glasses, but I don't remember when I had to get them. I started with glasses for a few months and then moved to contacts, they are just so much easier.

I am currently on my BCP and ER/ET will be around 4th of July.

QOTW: I used to wear both contacts/glasses, but I had a lasik about 4 years ago. I am so glad I did b/c I can see things when I wake up in the morning!
