Since we're going the no bumper route, I still want a cute bed skirt and crib sheet. I kind of like the funky patterns like yellow or gray chevron.
Anyone have a good store recommendation? I found what I want on etsy.com but it's so expensive even buying them separate. Maybe I am a cheapo. lol

Re: where did you get your crib skirt & crib sheet?
I'm a cheapo and there's nothing wrong with that - lol! I'm all about saving money if I can-- why the hell not?!
I got my crib sheets at Burlington (baby depot)- they were $9.99 each and I got 3. I will add they are solid colors with no patterns. I've seen cute crib sheets with patterns at Target, just don't remember how much they cost.
For the bed skirt, I ended up getting mine on eBay for $15. The cheapest one I had seen was $25 at BuyBuy Baby if I remember correctly, which I thought was too much.
So, I'd check Target and Burlington.
This site has beautiful bedding, however, its pricey.

I got mine on amazon. I also picked up a few extra crib sheets at target. I did a quick search for you though...and they have a cute grey chevron sheet at potterybarn kids for $19.00. You could pair it with a solid yellow crib skirt that should be easy to find and easy on the wallet. Good luck!
This is our crib sheet, from Target

I haven't been able to find a crib skirt. Target doesn't have any plain ones and I didn't have much luck on BRU website either.
Crib skirts are expensive in general - so I'd say get your chevron pattern in that - maybe grey w/ yellow accent. Then just get plain yellow sheets - which you can get at BRU for cheap. OR paint the room grey and then get plain yellow bedding and tie it together grey/yellow w/ some artwork - you can get grey/yellow scrap book pages and then frame them.
Check out land of nod.

I got the skirt at Amazon, an organic sheet at Amazon on sale, a printed sheet on clearance at BRU and another sheet at a consignment shop.
I am really a cheapskate. The cribskirt will most likely be the most expensive item. If you go the amazon route, sort on the left side bar to 'free supersaver shipping' so you don't have to pay shipping . That saves a bunch!
