Although we are doing one more IVF cycle this summer, I am preparing for the worst. ( I know, pessimistic, but after IF I can't help but be.)
Part of me wants to fill them out now and send them in but another part still has hope for IVF to work. Anybody start the adoption process before finishing IF treatments? Am I jumping the gun? I am a little nervous but getting excited to get the ball rolling.
Re: Received packets from a couple of adoption agencies
We are skipping IVF completely. It's not the best choice for us right now. I have come to terms with the fact that a pregnancy for us is pretty much out of the picture. But yes, I have been exploring adoption for the past year.
Its important to note though that the majority of agencies do not allow you to be doing any treatments through the process. So while it's good to explore your options, you likely won't be able to go much further until you have completed your journey through IVF.

DH and I are doing both... treatments and starting the adoption process. From what I've seen so far, it's hard to get too far into the process without laying down some cash. But we agreed that we want to adopt whether I get pregnant or not... We found an agency that we like and that will allow us to pursue both.
