laying on back

When DD is on her back, her legs still wave in the air.  I might be over thinking, but should she settle flat by now?  She sleeps in the RNP, so her legs are in an almost-sitting position most of the time.  When she's up, she's in my lap, so again not stretched out.  I'm trying to do more floor time, but she's got a little reflux and doesn't like to lay down after she eats.  By the time she's not so full anymore, she's tired and doesn't want to lay on her mat.  She slept in her crib for 4 hours the other night, but woke up at 2 instead of sleeping through til 7 like she usually does.  It also took her longer to fall asleep.

Re: laying on back

  • I don't have an answer, but I'm in the exact same boat (DD sleeps in RnP and has silent reflux).  My husband wants to try transitioning her to the crib again, but her little legs go a mile a minute.  She does the same thing when laying flat on her play mat AND on the bath sponge.

  • I think it's fine, and totally normal for their age. The only time DD straightens her legs is on her change table when her diaper's off, and even that isnt very common
