I am so excited that I got baby Mason's crib today. However, I cannot decide on bedding ideas. It seems that the girls have more options that are appealing to the eye. I have thought about owls, sailboats, just a blue stripe and now nursery rhyme toile.
I am looking for ideas. What did you do your baby boy's room in?
Re: Got the crib today... but so stuck on bedding ideas
This is a work in progress but I got the A&A sheets
https://www.adenandanais.com/shop/itemdisplay.aspx?ID=274&SKU=8600
(the ones with the elephants). The colors in it are gray, green and white.
I got Pottery Barn valances and crib skirt in white with a gray stripe
https://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/harper-valances/
(matches ok, not great but I think it'll be fine once I hang it up). Not sure what color the walls will be but I'm going to use those sheets as my starting point.
For DS1 I got an Eddie Bauer full comforter set and it has a construction theme. However, I realized how senseless all of the expensive accessories are so I am kind of piecing this new nursery set together from different places.
I should add I am in no way, shape, or form artistic or good at interior design so before I do anything I'm going to check with my aunt who is the Martha Stewart of our family.
We are doing a subtle transportation theme.
Using this bedding:

Good luck! Hope you find something that you love!
I don't have much to contribute except to say that I just bought my crib skirt from land of nod ($50). SOOOOOO much more affordable than PBK or other options.
They have a ton of cute sheets on sale for 8 or 9 bucks. Some bedding sets are on sale too.
I had the same problem and eventually decided to pull out my sewing machine and make my own bedding. I know the look of the bedding is for my benefit not the baby's so I just couldn't justify the $350-400 of the bedding I liked.
If you like owls, I love this set from Dwell Studio:
It is on clearance right now at BuyBuyBaby for $299 - I think you could then use a 20% off coupon. The fabric is really nice and soft and the trees on the bumper are sewn on with a thicker material (felt?) so it has some actual texture too. If I didn't already have my fabric I would so go buy this now!
There was a set that someone had on here that I thought was awesome - I think it was this. It's called Moving Gears by Skip Hop.
I LOVE the colors - it's the same colors we are actually using, but we are doing a sailboat/ocean theme. We have a couple decor things that we can use with that theme, and DH really likes it.
I went with our color scheme for the sheets.

I will be getting a solid box bed skirt from Amazon and I already have a white breathable bumper from DS's crib.
I might go ahead and get this blanket set for when we introduce a blanket for sleeping at 1 year.

The wall art and accents are woodland animals (fox, birds, owls, raccoon)
I made my own bedding with a robots theme.
I saw this Dr. Seuss bedding on zulily this morning and I love it
They have tons of stuff to go with it too. You don't need an invite but if you'd like one let me know and I can get it to you
