I just had to share, Liam went for his 1 year visit, he is now 30 inches and 20 lbs 1 oz. :-)
My point of the post is that I am a little ticked one of the nurses went to give his shots and upon pulling it out she must not have pulled it straight out and the needle broke. Luckily it did not do anything to DS but I was ticked off about it!
Re: Liam's one year visit!
I have no clue, all I know is she was showing the other nurse what happened to the needle. She was trying to be very very hush hush about it!
Oh no, she did NOT tell me. I was trying so hard to focus on what she was saying, because she walked to the little box you put the needles in and what gave it away to me was when she said, "oh no, look". She then held it up and I saw it clearly that it had bent and was broken.
I examined it once she left, and so far it seems fine, but you bet your *** if I see even a single mark that it doesn't look right, I will go in there and throat punch her tomorrow. Okay so maybe not really but they would be getting a call from me.
I didn't say anything at the time because Liam was freaking out SO MUCH! Then because I know it can happen, I figured I would examine it and go from there first. I'm just upset that she couldn't even be like "Just a heads up, upon pulling the needle out it broke, so just keep an eye on that area, if you notice anything abnormal by all means bring him back in." But that's the conversation in my perfect world and we all know it is not. I'm ticked though.
