Very underwhelming u/s this morning

I am so aggravated. first of all, I sat in the waiting room at the REs office from 7:30 to 8:50 before I got called in for the U/S. I have no idea WTF they were doing there, because the waiting room was not very crowded, and there were two docs doing scans, and it didn't seem to me like they were calling a lot of people back. Then the doctor comes in and spends about 2 minutes in the room and I'm wondering why the bloody hell I have been sitting out there if THIS is as much time as I'm getting.  DH came with me this morning since he is going to be traveling in a few days. Good thing, he kept me calm in the waiting room, I was going a little nuts, fortunately I knew my boss was out this morning, but once I hit 8:30 in that waiting room my stress level gets a bit high.

Anyway, it's CD8 and I only have 1 follicle over 10 (a 12) and then about 5 that are still small. So f-ing frustrating! I know it is still a little bit early, but usually with me at this point whatever is going to get over 10 is over 10. I will have to go in on Friday for a follow up. 

I have acupuncture tomorrow night and I'm just praying it gives the follicles a huge boost. 

The prospect of this ending up being another IUI with the next shot at IVF being in September is really overwhelming me.

TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

    I know it's hard but try not to stress too much yet. This same thing happened to my on my 2nd IUI cycle, and about 3 days later I went from 1 to 5 follices over 10. They can catch up really quickly!

    I'm sorry about your un-fantastic news. I know it is very frustrating when our bodies dont cooperate like we know they should, but like you said, it's still early so hopefully those little follies will grow and catch up! Keep us updated :)

    Well that was just a whole lot of waiting leading up to unfantastic news.

    I'm so sorry, but I'm with pps-- you're not out yet! Talk to those follies and get them growing!

    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE

    Oh I hate the unexplained 2 hour wait at the dr's office.  It's so damn annoying.  Bet the Dr was late coming into work, or something stupid like that. 

    I'm hoping it was just early days and Friday shows a higher count. I want to hear more good news.

    I'm sorry. I hope the acupuncture helps relieve some stress and get those smaller follies growing.

    Dx: DOR and MFI

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)
