Herbs/Supplements for 3rd trimester

I know somewhere I've seen a midwife site that had herbs/supplements listed for various things. Particularly I'm looking for things for 3rd trimester in preparation for birth.

The 2 my Bradley instructor talked about were alfalfa (during 3rd trimester and after birth, to help with bleeding after birth and milk production) and evening primrose oil (start at 37 weeks to get cervix ready). 

 Any others you know about and/or are planning on taking?

    You can drink EMAB Third Trimester Tea it is supposed to strengthen your uterus and help reduce swelling. I love it and so far it has worked wonders for my swelling. The main ingredient is red raspberry leaf which is an essential herb for third trimester.

    I ordered my tea off of Amazon for $6. Well worth it I would have paid more...

    You start evening primrose oil around 38 weeks I think...not positive on the week though you should google that. And as PP said I've been drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea since week 36.

    ETA: I obviously didn't read you post clearly enough and you already know about the primrose oil my bad!

    My MW recommend Polly Gene Birth Formula sold on www.birthjunkie.com, to be ordered by 30 weeks and started at 35 weeks. I just started it along with Alfalfa @ 30 weeks, EPO to start soon and Mother's Tea. GL!
