Labor buddies?

Since some of us are getting close to V-Day and 3rd tri, I was wondering if anyone is wanting to set up labor buddies. A labor buddy is someone you contact when you are in labor and they update the rest of us here on the board. The August 2012 board said they all responded to a post and one girl assigned them all a buddy. I have also seen where you respond saying you are interested in having one and then PM who you would like to be buddies with. If we want one person to assign them, I would be willing to do so. How should we do this ladies? Who is interested?

I was always so confused by the term "Labor Buddy" when I saw it in people's siggies. THanks for finally explaining it! (I wasn't on TB when I was pg with DS)

I had one with DS, but I didn't know her. She never contacted me when she was in labor, so I didn't contact her either. I figure if we assign them now, we have plenty of time to get to know each other.

I think it's a cool idea, I think we have a lot of the due dates on the moms blog. However I am sure a lot of the due dates have changed (mine has and I admit I haven't changed my ticker.)

I've always heard you don't want someone with the same EDD as you in case you both go into labor at the same time /same day. It doesn't really matter to me though. If Ike and ukcats are okay with it, you can be our first set!

I'm fine with it. Nemo and ukcats kinda rock my socks. LOL

I will be honest though, I do already have a PGAL labor buddy. But I'm all for doubling up!

I would so love to be part of this, however my doctor keeps changing my due date. Right now its back to September 26th but all my Ultra Sounds say October 5th (which was my original due date). But again I would love love to be part of this!!
