I think I got a giggle out of her yesterday. I was blowing raspberries on her tummy and she let out a giggle, but of course she isn't doing it any more. I am dying to hear it again though, because it is just too cute! She is 3 months and 1 week.
Two things -about 10 days ago she started to grab onto her crinkle toys and play with them (this morning she happened to grab my poptart wrapper and was fascinated!) and she also started to suck her thumb though not consistant---hoping this will further help her with self soothing though I dont want a lt thumb sucker!
Claire has found her feet. I know that is not a major thing but it so funny to watch her play in the bath tub and grab her little toes. She usually will smile really big when she gets them.

We got our first real laugh last week and she's very chatty and smiley. She slept in her crib last night but instead of sleeping from 10-7, she was up at 2.
Nicholas is responding to smiles with smiles, big gummy smiles too! It is so cute. He is also sleeping at night in his crib but only for 6 hours at a time. His colic spells are decreasing in length too! Hes 10 weeks old! Boy oh boy is being a mommy an adventure!!
Andrew has become increasingly smiley, giggly and talkative lately, it is SO cute!
Two major milestones in the last few days.. on Friday he started grasping at toys when we hold them near his hands. He gets really excited when he realizes he's holding a rattle and can shake it to make noise.. so excited that he often drops it!
The other major milestone is that he rolled from belly to back twice on Saturday night. It was right after his bath and I had flipped him onto his belly to put lotion on his back. He rolled over and then when we flipped him back onto his belly, he rolled again in the other direction. Of course, we spent all day Sunday trying to get him to do it again so we could video it.. no such luck. Then, last night, again after his bath when I put him on his tummy for lotion, he rolled onto his back. This morning, no rolling at all. Clearly he's not ready to do tricks on command!
He was 14 weeks on Friday.
We go together like a wink and a smile. June 27, 2009
Asher is cooing a lot in response to us. It's awesome that we can make him laugh. But as soon as I pull out my phone to video, he frowns... I'll catch him one of these days. we're working on grabbing feet and toys but its hit or miss.
At 10 weeks Erin's been doing all kinds of things in the last 2 weeks! She's figured out her chime toys make noise if she hits them, she talks ALL day long to whatever she happens to see - the animals on her bouncy chair, the fish on her swing, the monkeys on her blanket. She mixes between this serious talk and grinning and talking. She's also started pulling her head and shoulders up, telling us she wants to sit. Her hands are starting to grab things instead of missing most of the time. It's so much fun watching the light bulbs go on!
Brenden is smiling and cooing so much ... at everything and everyone. LOVE it!! He started rolling from tummy to back at 9 weeks ... surprised the heck out of us but he's doing it consistently. Did it for the pedi this morning and smiled at us like he was so proud of himself. Being a mom is great!!!

Jonas found his thumb a couple days ago and can consistently get it into his mouth to suck on it. It's pretty fun to watch him learn this. He's 12 weeks.
She has been having incidental contact with objects in front of her repeatedly. When she is studying the toy, you can just see the wheels turning in her head as she lines up her hand to hit it.
Adriana and Ashton are smiling like crazy and talking. Adriana has learned how to make her bouncy seat move by kicking her feet although Ashton isn't there yet.

That does sound quite cute!
Abby discovered, I think it was last week, that she can hit the rattle thing on her floor mat/baby gym and make it make noise. She got so excited!
She is also smiling a little bit more. She's not a smiley baby though so one a day is pretty good for her.
