Hi ladies,
My LO still sleeps in the bassinet beside me. When are you moving your LO to their own room if you haven't already? I feel like my LO is getting a little long for her bassinet, but I'm not sure I'm ready for her to be down the hall quite yet.
Re: Where does baby sleep?
DD still sleeps in her bassinet beside me. The bassinet we have is in the PNP and only goes to 15 pounds, so I guess we will move her when she gets close to 15 pounds (which will be soon I think
)
During the day she already naps in her crib, so I am hoping it won't be too difficult of a move.
.. soon after he went back someone tried breaking into the apts here including ours.. luckily hubby was home than night.. he should have been at work but took the night off. Since then I don't feel comfortable leaving LO down there where I can't get to him if someone breaks in..and I don't want to sleep down there because I wouldnt hear if someone was trying to get in.
So we moved his crib into our room which has a window on the balcony and the front door is next to my bedroom... at least this way I can hear someone come up the stairs and onto our balcony and gives me a chance to grab the little man and call the cops.
But he sleeps in bed with me ... hubby works nights and then on hubbys days off we all sleep together.. but he does nap in his crib, on his play mat or wherever... he is really easy going.. right now he is fast asleep on my living room floor on a quilt on the area rug.
Mine sleeps in the PNP in our room at night, probably will stay there until at least 6 months (AAP recommendation, plus his room is downstairs and ours is up).
Naps are mostly in the swing or bouncer, rarely in his crib.
Her crib in her own room. Moved her at a month. There's no way I could have gone longer than that. She talks in her sleep. It was waking me up when there was no need for me to be awake yet.
The PNP is still at the foot my bed for if she has a rough night, place to her when I'm foldling laundry. etc.
She naps in her swing. She takes very short naps so by the time I get her asleep and get her to her crib, she's awake again. Just not worth it. Will try changing her napping habits in another couple weeks.

Same here, though I moved him at 2 or 3 weeks. Haven't transitioned to the crib yet. Hope to start soon with naps (I end up chickening out though...not sure why).
