worse customer service!

So I need to complain for a minute ladies!  I ordered some clothes from one of those trunk shows for kids at someones home.  It is usually against my good judgement not to order, but I felt sort of weird not ordering, plus it was a gift so i said whatever and ordered the items.  It normally takes 8 weeks to get the items, it has now been 12 weeks!  I call the owner and I am informed they will not give me a refund and continues to tell me that my package will be at my front door for the last 2 weeks!  Still nothing.  So I call a different owner of the company today she tells me that she is on the beach right now, and the other owner is in the Keys right now, so there will not be a resolution to this for a few days!  Seriously?!!  You think I want to hear you are all enjoying your time while I am stressing over 50.00 that you took with no product delievered to me as promised!  What is funny is it took this company 2 days to cash my check!  How do these companies stay in business! What irritates me is that everyone who attended this party received their items about 4 weeks ago!  They might still refuse to give me a refund, not sure what I am suppose to do except take them to small claims court?

  • check your state's laws for consumer affairs and the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint.  And don't go to any more trunk shows.

    Only pay with credit card.   That way you can cancel payment.  Also it is very easy to submit a complaint to the BBB online.
