Birth Parent Letter

DH and I have to write a birth parent letter and I honestly don't know where to start. What should I include in the letter? Does anybody have any ideas and/or suggestions? Would anyone be willing to show me a copy of their birth parent letter so I can get an idea of what one is like? Please help! Thanks so much :)

    We were told not to use something like "Dear Birth Mother", so we started with "Hello" instead.  I just did a lot of Google searches to get ideas/inspiration.  https://www.ourchosenchild.com/ is a good resource for ideas

    Feel free to look at ours on our website.  Be yourself.  Use your own words and just be honest.  GL.  We revised ours quite a few times before putting it on our site.
