Did you or someone you know suffer from workplace discrimination? I DID...

 I lost my job for starting a family. It happens more often than you think, and it can happen to any of us.

If you believe that women deserve to have a career and a family, follow my blog, read my story, share yours, and  and pass it on. It is important as women to support women's rights. And this is an issue that is severely overlooked in this country. PLEASE SUPPORT WORKING MOMS!!! It's up to us.

    actually, i AM a regular poster here.

     

     I'm actually a regualar woman, who lost her regular job for having a child.  Hope none of you know the feeling of not being able to buy diapers or formula for your child because someone told you "now that you have a baby, you wont have time for a job."

     I guess no one cares unless something directly effects them. Sad. Hope no one you know or love ever experiences the hardships I have.

    I'm not promoting a blog. I'm trying to gain support in my cause. Thanks, ladies.

    Nobody said they didn't care. I think it's the way you did it, it does sound like you're pimping your blog. Like pp said, would have been a better delivery. I think it's sh!tty what happened to you and I can't believe this is still a problem today. I really hope things work out in your favor. Good luck.

    That's terrible! I hope you find another job. Just because it's a small business, they shouldn't get to do what they want. Are you going to take legal action or is that too expensive and time consuming?
