Finally cleaning out the soon to be baby room

Sometimes I wonder why we used the empty room as our "junk" room.  I know everyone has one of those rooms, like you don't know where to put it so you say oh put it in that room.  It is coming along slowly.  I did find all my wedding receipts, that was amusing and some really old pictures of DH and I.  We also found a lot of junk that I'm not even sure why we bothered saving it.

    I wish I had motivation to start cleaning out our junk / baby room. DH asked me yesterday if I was trying to turn the room into my own personal walk-in closet. I have really let it go.

    we've just started with that too.  It's our office/storage room and all we've done is move the computer out.  The printers, scanners, files, and all our other junk is still there.  I keep pestering DH because we need to get the crap out so we can measure order our crib.

    Our Baby room is my DH office...I painted the room yellow 2 years ago..heheh But we have to move the office in the spare bedroom..my DH is is no hurry...He could wait till the baby is here. I could kill him

    I woke DH up like 3 hours ago and said, I'm cleaning out the baby room and need help.  He got up real quick because he doesn't want me lifting stuff.  We have spent about 3 hours throwing stuff away, shredding and making a donation pile of stuff.

    We started that today. We got a roll top computer desk this week and moved the computer out. DH has off work tomorrow so it's Christmas lights and making room for baby.

    Our nursery was our guest room/junk closet. I've dumped most of it and made three bags of garbage and three bags for good will. I'm not sure why we kept a lot of either. Then I went on a spree to empty out other places where we'll need room for baby stuff -- space in the bathroom, the linen closet, and the kitchen. DH might have my head soon. But tomorrow the guest bedroom furniture will be packed up and put away and priming will begin. To think by the end of December it might look like a nursery, minus the furniture.?
