I didn't go into labor on my own but I can say that at 9 days prior to my EDD I was so freaking uncomfortable i was begging for anything to start labor lol.
I don't remember feeling anything until labor started. I didn't really have anything going on the few days leading up to delivering. My contractions started around 1:30am and DS was born at 7:18am. The whole thing came and went so fast. Keeping my fingers crossed this time around for something similar!

Change of subject, but your little boy is going to be a hottie one day! (I'm not a pervert, btw, I just sound like one on message boards)
I'm on # 3....with #1 I was induced, so nothing helpful there. But with # 2 I definitely knew a couple days in advance. It wasn't a premonition though, I really felt my body getting ready. I could feel the hormonal changes and felt almost like you do when you are trying to fight off a pending flu. I don't kno whow else to describe it. But just kind of run down and yucky....more tired....It's hard to describe.

Isn't he just the cutest little boy?...besides my own (mommy disclaimer).
Re: 2nd timers what did you feel like...
Nada
I had contractions for 10 days leading up to real labor so I was just grumpy and uncomfortable.
