So my little angel is going to be one..unbelievable...my heart hurts..but in a good, proud mommy way...
My post is for recipes!! Her party is Saturday, outside at a park...and it's going to be hot! So give me some of your favorite, EASY recipes..and hopefully another mother can get some from this!
Thanks in advance

Re: Recipes for first birthday party!! Outside...
I'm hoping to get some ideas from responses too, but here are some things I was thinking of for our party. I don't have the exact recipes yet, was just planning to google for some easy ones!
Pulled pork or sloppy joes (can make in crock pot so you don't have to cook out in front of everyone - this would probably work for a park if you keep the crock pot hot until you go)
Coleslaw or pasta salad (probably will be lazy and buy this)
Fruit Salad (easy and tasty on a hot day)
Cake and icecream
We want to go very simple, and our party is pretty small. I am having trouble with inspiration though!!! Good luck!
This sounds a lot like my party menu. Pulled pork in the crock pot, pasta salad, couscous salad, cole slaw, fruit, green salad, quiche, wrap sandwich tray and cake. Maybe a shrimp platter if enough people are coming.
Oh, keep it simple! My picnic staples are:
Cut up veggies with hummus and other dips
Fruit salad
Pasta salad with tons of stuff in it
Different chips with dips (we are big on dips)
Are you bringing a grill? If so, burgers and hot dogs. Or bring pre-made sub sandwiches and let everyone throw their own fixings on.
And desserts!
