Two Sections

Anyone here have 2 c-sections close together? My DD is 10 months old and I am due in Dec. They will be 16/17 months apart. anyone have sections this close together? How was the recovery time/experience. I had a pretty good recovery with my first, I was in my brother's wedding the day after I came out of the hosiptal. I never needed to take anything more than strong motrin while in the hospital...but I'm worried because I'll be having two so close together the second will be terrible...anyone with experience with this?

I had sections 12.5 months apart.

My second recovery was terrible, but it had nothing to do with the spacing of my section. It was more a combo of throwing up numerous times from the meds that they gave me during delivery which made my stomach hurt for longer and getting a spinal headache.

Mine were 1 year and 20 days apart. That's all I can really answer that will apply for you. I didn't have a toddler to take care of so my recovery was really easy.

Mine were 14 months apart and my recoveries for both were great. I knew what to do the 2nd time around, like getting up sooner and walking around, drinking more fluids, taking pain meds on schedule (not waiting for it to be painful), etc.

I did have a slight infection with the 2nd c/s, but it just looked bad, didn't hurt, and the cream ointment the doc prescribed me made it better.

I just had my second c-section in 18 months last Wednesday. The recovery on my first wasn't too bad, but this time has been a breeze! Like PP, I knew what t expect this time, and to get up and move around. I haven't had the heavy bleeding with this one and my milk was in within 2 days.

Now, adjusting to life with a toddler and a newborn is a definite challenge...

Mine were 15 months apart (this time will be 20months apart). My rcs was easier then my 1st which was pretty easy. I was alone with both boys by 1 1/2wks out and doing pretty much everything normally.
