Poll: Are you having a boy or girl?

I have heard that IVF babies are more often boys. Just wanted to take a quick poll and see if that holds true for our group![Poll]

That's actually not entirely true. IVF babies that grow to blast tend to be boys (https://www.smh.com.au/news/national/ivf-babies-more-likely-to-be-boys-study-finds/2006/06/24/1150845419414.html), but if you do ICSI, they tend to be girls (https://suite101.com/article/less-boys-are-born-after-icsi-a182722). So considering that around half of IF patients are doing ICSIi these days, it should all pretty much even out. Our embryologist even confirmed this data because of how they select the best sperm for injection, because sperm carrying the female chromosomes tend to be bigger (easier for them to grab with their instruments) and live longer.

We did ICSI on all of our eggs. We had 2 embies make it to day 5 - one was an expanded blast and one was a regular blast lagging a bit behind. We wound up with a boy and a girl.

I am pregnant with a boy from icsi and a 3d eset. I have a couple of more that grew to blast and were frozen. They were growing faster than the one we transferred on day 3, I wonder if one of those or both are girls? Kind of something to look forward to when we go back for #2

We did ICSI and transferred two day 5 eggs and it is a boy!

Keep in mind that the numbers only favor one sex or the other slightly (like 51 to 49%, for example), so there will be plenty of people who don't back up these studies.
