Trying to Get Pregnant

temp drop

When you have a really sharp temp drop is that an indicator you may not be preggo? I know temps usually stay higher if you are...feel free to chart stalk...I really hope this isn't a stupid question its just my first cycle temping thanks ladies!!

Re: temp drop

  • A sharp temp drop after O can either be an implantation dip (between 7-11 dpo), or it can indicate that AF is on her way.

It doesn't look like you have O'd yet so the temp drop may indicate that you are getting ready to O.  Watch your temps the next couple days to see if they start rising.  If you have a temp shift for 3 days, you may have O'd today.  Start humping it out just in case.

Also, I highly recommend taking the online courses/tutorials from FF.  They can answer a lot of your questions and help you with figuring out your chart.  GL!

ETA: Cram, you are adorable in your pic!

  • Yes if you are not pregnant, you will see a temp drop right before or after your period.  If you are pregnant your temp will remain elevated.

Looking at your chart, I don't think you have ovulated yet.

I would recommend the charting tutorials on FF.  They are really useful for someone new to charting.

    It's pregnant not preggo.

Also, you aren't out until your period comes.

ETA: It doesn't look like you have O'd yet.

Yes Also, the temp drop could be a pre-ovulation dip.
