wonder about your LO?

They say "behavior" in the belly indicates behavior out here. My son has been pressing his big/little tushy up against my tummy for the past two months. If he gets really kicky, I rub his butt and he calms down. Likewise, if he has been "too quiet" and I worry about him, I nudge his heiney and make him squirm or kick so I know he's ok. Now I wonder if I'm going to have to rub his butt when he's out here and fussy.

What do you wonder about your LO based on belly behavior?

  • DD1 had very fluid movements when she was an inside baby-bumping, rolling, etc.  She is very calm, entertains herself well, and is pretty patient for being 14mo.  This one is already a master at karate and moves WAY more than DD1 did. I have a feeling she'll be a spaz. :)

  • I hope not because if so my little one is going to give me grey hairs. He would NOT move for HOURS! I'd finally started to panic after drinking cold drinks, playing music, poking him, talking to him, nothing worked. As SOON as I'd start crying and freaking out, he'd move. I joked that he was just trying to scare me!

He's also a karate master, gotta put this kid into martial arts LOL

  • Yep, I wonder as well. LO has been very active throughout the entire pregnancy. Even with 3 days til the EDD, she still somehow finds ways to squirm and move around.  I think we're going to have our hands full with this little girl!  (though, I can't say she wouldn't just be following in her mother's footsteps Cool)

DD was the same way but she moved a alot.  As a baby she was what the baby whisper called an Angel baby just very calm only cried when she needed something etc... as a toddler she is happy but is always moving.  This one moves not as much but when he does it is more of a punch and kick vs just moving to move if that makes senese

  • This one still moves around alot. So scared
  • I dunno. My DS was pretty mellow in the womb. He moved a fair bit, but it was like stretching, pushing motions. Now he is, and always has been, a SUPER active little boy. DD was more active in the womb than DS had been, which had me really worried, but she's more calm (that's not to say she can't keep up with her big bro, b/c she certainly can and often does!).

This LO is super duper crazy active and has been the whole time. DH and I can't get over how much he moves and how much we can see it from the outside. It's like 'Alien' in a way that it never was with the other LOs. So maybe he'll extra mellow outside the womb....?

  • My DS was extremely active in the womb, and that fits with his personality now.  So far, this little guy is also super active. Lots of big movements.  I'm hoping he is like my DS in terms of activity level. I love fun, active kids with lots of personality.

  • If this is true than my LO adores cupcakes and hard core rap.  Or maybe that's just her mama!
