3rd Trimester

1st Tri exhaustion is back :(

I've been falling asleep and/or dragging myself to bed by 730 every night for the past two weeks. It's that same "my body is entirely spent of all energy and resources" feeling that I had during 1st tri and some of early 2nd. I have sooooo much to do and at my last appointment my OB said she wouldn't be surprised if I went a little early and I guess I just needed to whimper a bit. :(  Hubs is doing what he can but it would be super nice if some of that nesting instinct would kick in.

  • I know exactly what you mean.  We just moved and I really hoped that nesting thing would kick in so I could motivate myself to unpack and clean - but not so much.

I've been getting very exhausted very easily lately, but today I feel exactly the same way I did most of the 1st tri.  I just feel like my entire body is begging me to just lay down and sleep for a while.  I might be napping in my car at lunch today.

  • I hear you.  By the time I get home every day, I just want to climb into bed...

DH and I married 8 years. Mom of three, stepmom of one.

  • 1st and 2nd posters, yes, entirely. Due to my body doing so very strange things in the digestive department, the nausea is even back.

    Yaaaay.

We just moved too... what were we thinking?!?!  We're mostly unpacked, but not nearly close to organized and there's so much extra stuff just put wherever we could find a place... the old house was organized and everything had a place and packing was so easy and now I feel like we just screwed the pooch on preparing for this baby.  Her room is painted and furniture is put together and in place, but nothing is on the walls, no linens on the crib, shower gifts and clothing and whatever is in piles lining the room. We have another family shower and wedding this weekend that are out of town and then I'm down to almost a month. Makes my head spin.

Hugs and good luck dust to you :)

Well if it makes you feel better- you're way head of me! With settlement, packing and unpacking -we're way behind on baby prep.  We don't even have a crib or a dresser.  We have the paint but haven't painted the nursery.  We just had a shower and all of the gifts are the same way - piled in piles in the living room- and there's still so much more we need to get! Yikes!

It's like I know moving will be so much better - we're in a better neighborhood, school district, and bigger house.  Plus we now own vs. rent - but sometimes I just wish we waited.

  • I hear you completely!!! The dr put me on iron but then it will take like a month to possibly have more energy. I also asked if there was anything I could do b/c I feel sooooooo dead and tired and he said "no" the baby is just growiing like crazy!!!
